upcoming melbourne vintage clothing event
The St Kilda Library will be presenting a talk on The History of Vintage Clothing
from the 20s – 60s on Thursday October 27, 6:30pm – 7:30pm.
The presenter is Nicole Jenkins, a costume designer and owner of
Fitzroy vintage clothing shop Circa. She is also the successful
author of the award-winning book “Love Vintage”.

my birthday present
Who's a lucky girl? I recieved this Karen Walker necklace
I have been fawning over for months, for my birthday on
Sunday. I'm thrilled with my colour choice, which was
a very unusual one for me. I skipped the red, overlooked the
blue and settled on this brilliant orange pansy. *sighs*
Heaven on a silver chain.
major wardrobe malfunction
My osteopath told me I wasn't allowed to drive in heels, so
I wear my driving slippers on the way to work and back again.
Please behold my driving slippers. They are both right feet.
I stood in dog poo in one red, and then one blue -
they are currently in my laundry waiting ot be cleaned.
Today, I went to put on my heels before going into work
and lo and behold, I left them at home. Not a great look!

birthday flowers
Today was my birthday. Another year older, not any wiser.
I was spoiled rotten. The top flowers are from my beloved,
the middle are from the lovely Michelle and the third ones
are from my beautiful colleague, Pammy. Thank you to my

turning japanese - leona dress and vintage hair accessory
This is one of my fav Leonas. It is so thin and light, perfect for today's
weather which is 25 degrees. I paired it with a gorgeous hair accessory
that I scored when I bought a bulk vintage hair accessory bundle on etsy.
On my feet are my trusty Miss L Fire pumps.
