Getting some stock together to open an etsy store full of

lovely vintage-style half-hats and headbands I made myself.

new floral pants

I love these pants. I love these pants so much, I bought two pair.

They are the kind of thing I would chuck on, on an almost daily basis,

just to kick around the house. They're comfy as anything and the best bit

is that they cost me $15 from K-Mart. WhooI I also bought them in the

other design offered, which no doubt you will be seeing soon.

ma new lunch bag (with snack pots)

Originally, I was going to get the apple-pattern lunch bag,

but then I changed my mind and wanted to get matching

snack pots, which the apple design doesn't include...

so woodland creatures it is. The other half got a black

lunch bag with a skull design on it, snack pots included.

These all came from Lark - cutest store on the planet.

pimp my ride (nanna-styles)

As I was lamenting, recently, that I realised I have a kitschy house,

I present myself to the best of my ability... but my car interior

was somewhat lacking. My car is a newish Suzuki Swift named Fairy

Bird and there's nothing too different or non-freakish I can think

of doing to her outer, but her inside was full of possibilities.

I thrifted some crochet blankets and cute pillows and went to work.

I've also ordered a crochet sterring wheel cover from etsy, so I'll

take a pic for you when it arrives. My only complaint is that I have kilos

of pug fur embedded in the seats that I fear will never come out. Ever.

I bought this donut pillow for (the real) Tallulah Porkchop.

It didn't take long.

I've been thrifting crochet rugs and quirky pillows to

pimp my car with. I realised my house is fetchingly nanna,

but my car is really generic. About to remedy that.

And finally, I made some rocky road for my other half

to take to work as a belated birthday treat.

Oh, and I also I impulse-purchased these two

items today from Modcloth. Ugh!

the flu, thrifting and latest buys

Even though one had the flu, then gastro at the tail end, one still

found the energy (only just) to thrift this '50s compact...

two vintage cadies and a vintage dress...

... and a 1960s handbag. :)
