Last night I pre-made the flowers for my hat.
Look Mum, I sewed!
I made this from a flat bit of straw!
These are all the steps I took.
Now for the fun bit...
I start pinning on my design.
The whole design, pinned on.
On a foam head.
From the side.
Now I have to hand-sew it all on.
Tah-dah! The finished product.
From the side.
And the front.
Then I packed up my little sewing box, and went home.
this looks like so much fun and bursting with creativity. love this headpiece so much, it reminds me of a midsummer night's dream. it's enchanting.
