my first victory rolls

Skirt - Thrifted
Tights - Columbine
1960s Shoes - Thrifted
Sweater - Modcloth

So, I clashed the decades a bit, today -
1950s makeup, 1940s hair, 1960s shoes.
These are my first victory rolls ever, how did I do?

  3. You look great, always so happy and Your colorful style seems to match Your cheerful personality, always a pkleasure to see Your outfit posts.
I'd curl the bangs/ fringe up with a curler to create Bettie Page U bangs.
I'd do the rolls narrower in the start( like icecream cones) and I would try to make a V shape at the back, as in victory. It's great that they are not hollow.
You could also try making them off center with a sidepart and forming a heartshape in the front and play with bangs lifting them in to tree standing curls or mayby pulling them backwords into a pompadour poof...
Hope You don't mind my advice.I'm NO big expert on the subjekt.
You would also really rock a poodle doo with u shaped bangs, that's a flirty and playful hairstyle that would suit You wry well me thinks....

  7. a smashing job, outstanding for a first go. and they get even better and easier with practice. love this clash of decades. i'm always in 40s hair, 60s clothing, 21st century accessories, revamped clothes of my mums from the 80s or just general jumble of miscellaneous decades. gotta love it!
