the family jewels

When we were away, we visited my mother-in-law, Gay.
She gave me this box, that belonged to her mum, Gwen.

Inside I found a crystal necklace and earring set that was gifted to Gwen
by her husand, Herbert. We believe it was purchased at the Pitt St, Sydney,
Prouds store sometime in the 1930s. Isn't it breathtaking? It looks sensational on
and they're the most comfortable clip on earrings I've ever worn. I'm a lucky, lucky girl.
