Some pictures of my nan, Daphne Joyce Hughes, in North Queensland with her girlfriends at different events during the 1940s. She is on the right in all of the photos excpet for the second one, where she is in the middle. I'm so thrilled she such was a pretty and fashionable young woman. She is in her mid-eitghties now and dare I say, she dresses for comfort. May I add all those earrings you see her wearing - clip ons. She doesn't have pierced ears.
