hiding new purchases

Here are some new shoes that I've had to hide underneath my vintage

dresses, in the corner of the room you cannot see from the doorway.

There's room on the shoe rack, but I've saved sooo... much money

on shoes in the post Christmas/end-of-season sales, and my other

half still doesn't this concept.

I've been wearing the new shoes home, with the shoes I originally

left the house in, stuffed in my handbag - clever, huh? I usually

just hide the new clothes/shoes in my car until I'm home

alone, then I get the chance to unload and hide all the bags, 

wrapping and receipts at the bottom of the bin.

Anyone else do this, or is it just me?
